Completed July 2022

Innisfail is a regional town on the Cassowary Coast Region of Queensland. It’s home to Radiant Life College, which has 88 students from Prep to Year 8, where 94 per cent of the students have an Indigenous background and 9 per cent have a language background other than English.
The system will be incorporated into the year 7-9 curriculum and the students will be charged with running and looking after the greenhouse
Progress since completion
During Term 3 2021 the Year 7-9 students have been responsible in the greenhouse, harvesting over 80 plants of lettuce and spinach. To celebrate this first harvest, the school held a special celebration and harvest lunch for the whole school. The students have loved cooking and eating their leafy greens.
Radiant Life College have exciting plans for the term ahead, with another upcoming harvest of leafy greens.
