Established in partnership with the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) and the Australian College of Agriculture and Horticulture (ACAH), the Werribee South Food Ladder provides nutritional food and job-ready skills to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Classes are offered twice a week for participants wanting to obtain a certification in horticulture. All the produce harvested goes back in to the community, whether it be through outreach programs and cooking classes, or to the buying public through the on-site shop or to local cafes and restaurants.
